The stream for the Ingham County EDACS system is back online. After many changes and updates, it should be working like it should now.

You can access it by starting Windows Media Player and opening URL http://scaningham.hopto.org:2502

Please let me know if you have problems. You won't notice it on your end, but there is a delay between the scanner reception of a signal and the streaming online. I'm working to shorten that if possible.

Thanks,
Chris

You need to open Windows Media player and open the URL exactly as it was written. Do not just click on the URL within the thread. I've had several people already connected to it with no problems. Just type in http://scaningham.hopto.org:2502.

Let me know if you still have trouble.

Well I have every single talkgroup programmed which is listed at this link http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&sid=2849, with the exception of the Radio Technician's. I have MEDCOMM channels 3 & 7 for all three Lansing Hospitals (Ingham, Sparrow, & St. Lawrence). That's about it.

I'll be incorporating the stream onto a website. There will be a media player incorporated into the page. It should make things a lot easier on everyone. Watch for more details.

I have made one big improvement to the stream system. To make life easier for everyone who listens, I have created a website with Media Player built in. The correct URL and port number are programmed in so all you need to do is press the Play button. Make sure you accept the ActiveX control that allows you to use the player. After buffering, you'll be on your way to listening enjoyment!

The URL is http://www.scaningham.com

Look for more improvements to this site in the future.
