Of course, less than a year after I plunk down the money for a Pro-96 (chosen over the Uniden because I didn't need anything the one had the other didn't), I'm now buying a house....in Ingham County.

I'm not really interested in buying yet another digital scanner at this point. Are there any other Uniden models, older, discontinued, etc., that will do narrowband EDACS?

Any responses from people in the Stockbridge area with interesting things to listen to would be appreciated as well :)

I think all but the original two Uniden TT's handle narrowband EDACS... You have a few months (at least) to worry about it anyways as the new tower is still not near being ready.

Downtown near the BWL's current tower, I'm not sure if it's actually on the way up yet or not (haven't bothered asking in a while.)

From what I understand, a Uniden BC-780 will decode this system. We have a narrowband EDACS TRS on 900 MHz in my area, and it works just fine decoding it. Likewise, the new BC898T should work on this TRS as well.

All I heard is that they are still working on the system and they should be getting ready to erect the new tower in Lansing. Once that is done, then you should see the system come online within a few months.

Does anyone have any idea how construction is coming along on the other three sites? Rob?
