I know that Fire/EMS run off EDACS now. I am a EMT/Fireman looking to monitor activity in the area..

I am new to radio and have a MDX GE Ericsson Edacs trunking 800 MHZ, that needs some Freqs and whatever might be needed to get me listening to dispatch.

My question what do I need to listen to Fire/EMS dispatch and their appropriate freqs?

The frequencies are all listed in the database link above... You'll need some fancy (aka expensive) hardware & software to set that up though, outside the realm of this scanner forum. Try the other forum links for that brand and see what you can come up with.

I need more specifics!

I see that Ingham County has everyone on a TRS...

System Name: Ingham County Public Safety
Location: Lansing, MI
County: Ingham
System Type: EDACS Standard
System Voice: ProVoice and Analog
@
Scanner Frequencies: Ingham County Public Safety Trunking System, Lansing, Michigan

HOWEVER,

I also see that Michigan Public Safety Communications System (MPSCS) or APCO 25, is now incorporated into the state system. @ Scanner Frequencies: Michigan Public Safety Communications System (MPSCS) Trunking System, Statewide, Multi-State

My question: What is the proper page to use to pull frequencies to receive Fire/EMS/Police dispatch....EDACS or MPSCS? OR do they both work (patched)?

I'm not totally following your question... Ingham Co is not on the MPSCS system. You only need the Ingham Co system.
