Other thing, I know that the linux version does not provide the embedded (windows only) WebView2 Flight Map feature , next to Waterfall.
But it is strange , that none of the multiple received aircraft messages does not show any lat , long, alt position, not ?
Not sure if I missed any config settings to activate it .

That website is *terribly* outdated with numerous errors from my experience. At one time it was the best around but now is full of long outdate information. since weeks i have problems with decoding Aero, data and voice. bfore it worked perfect. no changes. SDR# and Jaero works well and brings lot od decoded data. any suggestions pls?
as you can see, within 6 min. only 3 decodings. thats it. in fact it should be 60-70 ...

I bought the RTL-SDR L-Band antenna from Amazon back in 2021. This windows based software has gotten me back into interest in monitoring the band. I am still learning how the waterfall and other stuff works so going slowly. I have had diffculty as well in consistent monitoring of down-links.

Recently I tried just typing in one frequency (based on previous data copied) and I use that one frequency to monitor the ACARS down-links.

Currently I am using 1546.0058 (the Freq on the software is 1546.006 based on the Messages tab) and for three days I have copied consistent data.

May I suggest from a beginners viewpoint that you type in the down-link for the satellite you are monitoring (I am looking at 98W here in the States) and see if that helps.

I just did a control and left click on the spectrum and moved to be on that frequency correctly and so far I have 159200 plus messages over 3 days

I hope this helps - a 70 year old guy just trying to learn all this new stuff

i tried everything. airspy found. entered frequency directly (but this is only for the center frequency...) deleted frequencies from the list and added new... it looks nice in the list, everything green with lock, but no decoding. Where´s Sarah?

I think I've found the problem. Maybe it's a bug? Anyway, I tried a fresh installation and now it's decoding again. Is it possible that after a certain amount of time and too many messages, it stops decoding properly?

Hi , other feedack / question .
Recently I recorded several test recording files In some of them , In some of them , I changed the central frequency to catch different part of spectrum (example 1550 , 1539,..) , because RTL-SDR Blog V4 can handle SR < 3Mhz . Maybe it is my mistake , not sure . But, when playing them , I did not see that this central frequency updated in the display . I think it keeps the previous value (example fixed, 1545 Mhz) .
Anyone found similar problem ?

Hello yesterday I made my own InmarScope.exe using AI . It is working fine . With source from GITHUB available yesterday my version is V 1.0.17 . When I run InmarScope.exe it is asking me to update to V.1.0.18 . Githu wasn't up to date ? What is the way to retreive V 1.0.18 ?

On linux 10 MB on airspy R2 10.500 b aero aren't seen must reduce to 6 MB sample rate in order to have good signals . Github is also 1.0.17

Will this program decode any of the Iridium transmissions? I see there is a Linux ACARS program for this but just curious as to getting the 16xx MHz traffic

No. But the IridiumSniffer can do the job

iridium toolkit is doing the job for years now . I'm doing one day record then batches for extracting voice, sms , acars , wireshark analysis . AI tools to improve voice understanding . 90 % of voice here in Europe is "the number you have dialled can't be reach " ......

Unfortunately, they are Linux. I am not able to commit the equipment and time for all the work as a beginner.
I was just hoping that the Iridium or even the uplink for Inmarsat was something that this program could do.
