hello just looking at some frequencys that are anolog they have the input and frequency how does this work do you put them both in to hear or just one or the other , just not sure what to do to scan this please help thanks

To directly answer your question, don't program the input frequency, just the output frequency. If you listen to the input, you will only hear one side of the conversation. I would still suggest reading the repeater wiki so you know how the radio system you are listening to works.
