where can the following information be found or obtained from. i am looking for the input frequencies and their respective pl tones particularly for waldo county, hancock county, penobscot county, piscataquis county and somerset county.

i am the training officer and ground team leader for a sar team that has the above listed counties as our rapid response area. we also cover the rest of the state, but getting our hummers to those parts would take some time.

we regularly communicate with prcc, orono/old town pd/fd and brewer on their respective freqs.

thank you for the assistance

OR you can check with each county and IF you are legit [not saying you aren't] they will readily give you all the info.

Now before you starrt ruffling feathers over this I learned this during 22 years of communications in Maine [FD PD RS EMA RACES]

Contact the Agencies to obtain permission and get it in writing. ;)

LE's hate when someone just comes up on our Channels, especially if your not invited to the party

The Chief/Sheriff [if your invited to the party] will share the information as well as ensure [thru HIS/HER Radio Shop] that your radios are certified on their channels [read this as Narrowband and/or P25 and not to use modified Amateur radios] The Chief/Sheriff would be liable if you were using Non-Narrowband equipment and the license shows they should be using NB

Also much of the info here, would be for the Scanners Not Two-Way.

Agencies sometimes will have more than one Repeater and not all will be listed as the output is the same Freq/Tone where-as the input freq/tone could be different.
