I have no issues with mine. I have an SDS 200, usually pick up the same thing on both. Now I will say, the 125AT picks up analog better than any radio I have.

You are one of the lucky few who has won the simulcast lottery.

In general the BCD325P2 does NOT handle simulcast systems well.
I must be a lucky one too. I am in northern Lake County and I can hear the Lake County, McHenry and Northern Cook County simulcast sites. It’s location location location.

Yes, you are.

Bring your 352P2 here to my place, and you'll see that it won't work at all on either our county system or the ones in the surrounding counties.

I love mine. But it absolutely will not work on the simulcast systems here. Won't even lock onto the control channel.

Yeah, I'm finding that out with my 325P2 on the Lake County phase 2 system. Very choppy reception at home, but perfectly clear at my work (4.5 miles from home). I was trying to save a few (hundred) bucks by going the 325P2 route, but may have to return it and once again get a SDS100.

Been looking for a cheap Uniden digital scanner and came across the BCD325P2, I was wanting information regarding service life, battery life and can it handle a bit of abuse (as in being dropped accidentally and getting wet).
The Bearcat BCD325P2 is a SOLID performer BUT battery life sucks. I would suggest Panasonic Enloop batteris and a seperate charger outside of this scanner. You can PM me for more info as I have had this scanner here many times from customers having software updated, ect.
Hope this helps you out.
Stay safe.
