BCD160DN/BCD260DN: Interesting "Feature" - Could be Improved

I have mostly programmed my BCD160DN via the Uniden software, I have also added a few frequencies manually via the keypad.
Today I had to add a new frequency and got this screen below. In the past I knew that some scanners would check for duplicate FREQUENCIES, but this is the first time I have seen one check for duplicate NAMES.

1. It would be great if it also showed what channel number this was duplicate with.
2. It would be great if you could search by frequency / name, at times I will come across a new frequency but I often need to check if I already have it programmed in. A search feature would make this really useful.

Can't you simply very quickly enter that frequency and it will say if you already have it? Does it make a difference if the same frequency uses a different CTCSS/DCS tone?

As it searches thru its memory for a match it could easily take the channel number for that match and present on the display, both name and number. And it could as well not stop the search but always continue thru all channels and display any additional channel numbers if several matches are found. Great suggestion.

Yes but then I need to work out which channel it is saved in.
