Interesting find ... Oregon State Parks

This may already be known, but what the heck, its new to me. While camping at Silver Falls State Park last month, the trusty signal stalker on my PRO97 picked up the State Parks channel, 159.39. A search in the database revealed numerous registrations for this frequency. All registered as 'public works', they all seem to be in areas that have a state park so I can only assume that this is the channel they all use for state park operations.

How can this help you? Well, when they go out to empty the garbage cans, you can make sure all your firearms and hard alcohol are put away : )
