Howdy folks I was up at the CJC with a roommate of mine when he was attending court at Division 1 on the bottom floor.....but while I was sitting in the truck I was searching freqs with the fine tune function of my Pro 97 and I ran across a frequency of 956.28750 and the transmission was like soft rock or soft pop music.....after searching the FM stations I didnt find any of them matching up to the music I was listening to....any idea what the transmission was coming from and where it was going to? It appears to be licensed to "South Central Associates". They have a Memphis location also. It sounded like MUZAK to me when I tuned it in in Bartlett. Kinda Cheezy music sometimes.

You were probably in the path of a point to point microwave link from studio to transmitter. Many of them operate in the 950 MHz range.

MUZAK.. the force of audio for can we all say... APPLEBEE"SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS Yes its 900 MHz.. and yes it would be strong in Bartlett.. duh whats sitting on the corner of Stage Road, and Bartlett Blvd? Applebee's! If only they had not kept cutting my hours... lol!
