There was another guy too that use to post all kinds of interesting RR stories from on the job, but I forget his name.

You are probably thinking of "Tuch", J. D. Santucci. He still writes from time to time, but it has slowed since he became a father. He used to mention he was writing a book on his railroad experiences.

I remember an article by a railroader in Trains or similar paper magazine a few years ago that my friend Nick picked up. He wrote something like, "My second best day on the railroad was the day I marked up. My best day was the day I quit and walked away for good."

Makes you go HMMMMM...
