I found a new Radio Shack scanner programming cable, hot on the heels of the discontinued 20-289 that supports the following GRE OEM scanners:
"Get with the program.
PC cable for programming certain scanners. Compatible with 20-314, 20-315, 20-422, 20-423, 20-424 and 20-514. Eliminates hand-programming of the scanner using the scanner's keypad."
The 20-315 is the PRO-82 conventional analog handheld and the 20-424 is the PRO-2018 base version, but these others are not active yet.
It also has this little tiny tidbit "You'll also need * Requires scanner programming software available from ScanCat.com, Starrsoft.com or search by entering the RS scanner PRO-number (i.e. PRO-98.com)"
20-422, 20-423, 20-424, look like, handheld, mobile, base, or a combination.
20-514 is a number on its own and PRO-98.com is not registered yet.

But then again, it could be nothing...
