Interesting traffic this morning on UCA TG 26880

UCA TG 26880 is currently listed as Salt Lake County "Human Services 1 40A." But today I heard a statewide check-in with users in multiple cities and counties across the state, and at the end the leader of it said "this concludes the DCFS quarterly emergency radio check." Not sure if this is enough to change what's in the database, or maybe they piggyback off this county agency's TG, but it was interesting to hear.

They do it quarterly, they do several types of check-ins on that talkgroup, the radio they use lists the DHHS main channel, which is Department of health and human services, but several agencies do check ins . Hospitals common do check in on their talkgroups.

The one this morning split off to other talkgroups to do their own respective check-ins on their own services like substance abuse and mental health and behavioral services , opioid center check-ins etc. If there was ever an emergency these would be active and would do a statewide check in to see what services would need to be provided in case of an emergency...
