Every now and then I fire up WSJT-X and put it in WSPR mode to see what I can receive. WSPR is weak signal propagation reporting --> WSPR
I set up last night on 137 kHz using my IC-7600 and an ALA100N Wellbrook loop. I managed to log one station, KM5SW in New Mexico.
What made this an interesting catch was he was 1,100 miles away and only running 200 milliwatts of power. Not a bad haul for the LF (low frequency), 2200 meter ham band.
