Officials are investigating interference issues over AM aircraft bands at the El Paso International Airport Tower. Some speculate it may be interference from Mexico since restrictions across the border are not enforced as they are in the USA. Many whom travel along the border know this issue is a common problem. I remember when El Paso Police was on uhf they use to get bleed over to illegal use of lower valley repeaters and Mt Franklin from Juarez in late 80s.
