While doing the P25 Decode test I noticed some strange operation. While changing the mode from NFM to FM did slightly improve P25 operation, the radio randomly stops on TG's where there is no activity. Squelch setting does not appear to have any affect on this. Switching back to NFM resolves this peculiar operation. Anyone ever experience this?
I'm really disappointed that my old reliable 996 decodes P25 trunked systems so much better, even with very weak signals ;-(
