When programming frequencies, do the Interop tags have activity on them and should they be considered
to be input into scanner.
Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks,.

They have use, but to monitor or not to monitor is up to the user.

Thank you for the advice. I'm learning as I go. I'm trying to load frequencies that have police and fire activity that are enjoyable to monitor.
Just don't want to input useless info that never have chatter..

Interop channel usage can vary widely. You may also find some interesting comms as well. Like covert law enforcement operations and such.

I would seriously consider adding them. You are very unlikely to have a channel capacity problem and you may find them being used in a disaster or other large scale incident in addition to the above mentioned usage.

Thanks Jeff for passing that along.
I've got them programmed in and have heard some chatter.
I'm starting to make some program progress with the helpful comments.
