Introduction

Hello Everyone my name is Rusty I am from Jefferson County, Arkansas I am new to this site and I just purchased a Uniden BCD99XT Digital Scanner. I know nothing about this scanner I bought the Software with it but I have no idea on how to program it! If anyone could let me know if this is a good scanner and maybe on how to program it that would be very kind ty and I hope to learn alot from this site even though i am still learning where to go and all that! Thanks So much!!

Hi Pvtqueball,welcome to RadioReference

It would be worth your while to get Freescan programming software.
Have a look at the WIKI articles on it: FreeScan User Guide - The RadioReference Wiki
You should be able to get it customized to your liking with it.

Thanks mciupa I dowloaded the Freescan software last night and basically got everything color cord. for diff types like Medical, Fire, Police, Forrest., and all that just going to finish making sure everythign is to my likeing and then I will program it to my scanner tommorw just taking my time to make sure it is done right the first time and the way I like it.
