I have heard two transmissions with in the last 10 minutes on 151.475 in the Cedar Rapids area, it was P25. My digital scanner won't be here until Friday. I thought the Iowa Channel was suppose to be a analog channel only?

My guess is that it is a band opening. I heard a Motorola control channel on 155.685 (State LEA) today as I was going to work, and almost every other VHF channel had stuff that I normally can't hear on it.

The BNSF doesn't go through Albion, the Iowa River Railroad does. Maybe you meant Albia?

Tim K.

Yea thats what i meant...

Albion, Albia... Blairstown, Blairsburg...

Iowa needs to get a little more original on their naming.
