Greetings All...

Can anyone confirm if Iowa County Sheriff (155.5950) is now operating in P25 mode? I am listening to the Dane + Iowa county feed and hearing some P25 on the feed, which is not being decoded. Anyone confirm this is them?

Yes they are, but i don't think any of the Wiscom frequencies licensed for the new county site in Dodgeville is on this feed (150.9200 / 153.2150 / 154.7550 / 155.5125 / 155.6700).

Just an update, it appears like the P25 on the feed is not Iowa County SO since I just heard them on the feed in analog mode. It must be a poss skip on the feed of digital traffic I guess with all the storms in the area.

I attended a training last week there the Iowa County EM director was present. He made a general announcement the switch to WISCOM was within the coming weeks

Greetings again....

Does anyone know if the switch occurred yesterday or are they still on 155.5950? Also, does anyone know if law enforcement is going to be the only regular users of WISCOM from Iowa County or is County fire, DPW, etc eventually making the switch also.

I'm hearing talkgroups 25001 which appears to be the law enforcement channel. I've seen 25002 come up a few times but I didn't catch the usage. I'm not scanning / starting at the WISCOM system all day and night to pay much more attention to it that than that.

I did see the normal sheriff repeater being used a couple times last night though.

I'm catching Iowa County Fire/EMS paging on 25005 and a fire/ems talkgroup of 25007.
