Iowa/PRO-96/Motorola?

Does anyone get a system ID of 08176 on what I assume is a control channel of 855.0875? I was getting it last night, but not this morning. It showed a decode rate between 97-99%. I cant find anything for this freq. in the database either. I dont do any Motorola monitoring, and didnt even know about the decode function (on the PRO-96) until reading some other threads. I was actually just trying the search function, on my old PRO- 92, and that freq, and ID number came up on it also. So I just programmed that single freq. into my 96 which showed the same ID and above decode rate. Sorry to be long winded, anyone have ideas on this? Thanks , Mike

Judging by the stuff you said in some other forums you are from iowa city/ cedar rapids area. Upon some searching i found it belongs to the below
Callsign: WPTT372 Licensee: RO DISTRIBUTION

Thanks for the help Mike! I should say that I never heard voice transmissions, just the talk group ID codes. I assume because I dont have the rest of the freq. programmed in, or I am just too far away. Thanks again, Mike

if you have questions on a frequency you can run it at the FCC's Website
http://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/General_Menu_Reports/

You can get the frequencies and test them out. I would test them out and confirm them before submitting to the database. That way you know what it really is and you can gather information on talkgroups
