Iowa State Patrol - comm issues?

I've noticed this past week that I haven't heard any traffic from the Iowa State Patrol on the VHF frequency in the DSM area. I've heard traffic from downtown DSM (Post 16) and the ISP Extenders, but none from outside that post.

Has anyone heard them this past week?

check your pl tone

i have had some issues with sometimes the pl tone not working right in some scanners

How about manpower? Maybe they are leaving the Des Moines urban area to area Police and Sheriff and concentrating out of the urban area? During the day it is pretty quiet around here. I think there is one Trooper for the south half of Post 12 and maybe one on Interstate 80.

Thanks all! I did a reset on my scanner and was able to get them in again.

Is there anyone here in the DSM area that monitors ISP? I hear alot on Base but it seems that StMarys LEA is used more so than DSM LEA (seems LEA around here is on ISP UHF F10).
