OK, but I thought Unication only made 700 MHz pagers. Is this a VHF Unication then? And if so, why does it say "Iowa Interop Network" on standby? I mean I guess you could program it to say anything you wanted, but you can't get BOTH VHF AND 700 MHz on one Unication pager, CAN you? If not, why does it have that label? Doesn't make sense. I'm obviously missing something.

Unication makes dual band pagers as well as single band pagers.

I have two Unication G5's that are both 700/800 and VHF.

Question -- how many of you still hear 10-codes often? And how many of them do you hear regularly? When I look at this list, I see several I'm familiar with, but also several that I've never heard in 35 years of scanning. How about you? Iowa 10-Codes

10-codes should have been dead over a decade ago... But there's two things people hate in emergency services...

1. The way things are.

2. Change.

You're talking about hundreds of years of tradition unimpeded by progress...
