Has anyone ever used an iPad to program the 436?

an ipad has no usb port

While it is true that an ipad has no usb port, there does exist a Lightning port to usb adapter.
I am a drummer and use one of these adapters to connect a Yamaha multi pad to an ipad for programming.
I believe the issue would be is there an app available to allow communication between an ipad and a 436.
