Iredell County/Statesville fire 800MHz?

Hello, I'm curious if anyone has any information regarding Statesville fire departments upcoming plans of going 800? Word is that Statesville fire is going 800 within the next year.

I have also heard that the Iredell County Sheriff's Department is also looking into going 800 in the near future, however the details on that are pretty sketchy also. I currently monitor the Mooresville TRS and am aware of the patches that are set up to the county agencies, which brings me to my next question... I have read in some earlier posts that the Statesville Police Department may get a patch on the Mooresville TRS at some point, does anyone have any further updated details as to the status of that? Also is there any more updates to the Mooresville TRS system that are not currently updated at radio reference?

I would greatly appreciate any information regarding the above topics.

I picked up word last fall that Statesville may be joining Mooresville's TRS with a dedicated tower site in Statesville. I have not heard anything new since then.

As to the county going 800, there has been talk for years of them wanting to switch over but lack of funds. Some rumors/rumblings going around have put the county joining the state's VIPER system. County EM already has several handhelds to use on VIPER.

As far as Mooresville updates, I have some things to correct in the DB but just haven't made the time to send them in. There are still some things I also haven't been able to track down change wise in talkgroups.
