Is the Ironton PD digital and if so what mode. There seems to be no activity on the frequency in the database.

IPD may be on MARCS, either on a new and unidentified talk group or they are using the Sheriff's office talk group. Ironton PD consolidated their radio room with the county 911 center (run by the Sheriff) several years ago. They could also be using 154.40 MHz narrow band FM, which is still the county's main analog law enforcement frequency.

Little late here but from what listening I’ve done on the Lawrence County Public Safety feed, I believe IPD is on MARCS, along with most other agencies aside from the Sheriff, which I believe uses both MARCS and the countywide analog channel. Not 100% sure but fairly certain.
