Today, 3-1-07 at 7:30 pm...as of now, nothing is transmitting on the Northville MPSCS tower 206. All i hear is the Control Channel noise. No tg's coming through. Just downloaded the firmware 1.4 also. And, a trooper reported not being able to get ahold of the post with his radio. it is now 7:50 and still nothing heard.

Livingston County Central Dispatch MPSCS radios are down because of a lightning strike. They are using 868.325 (47 Conventional) for police, 154.010 for fire and 462.975 for EMS. They went down at about 7:30 PM. They are still in backup mode as of 8:20.

I'm watching the Northville site on Pro96Com now. It's operating in site trunking mode, which basically means it's running stand-alone, with no connection to the rest of the system.

Unfortunately in this mode, all of the access controls for the site are disabled, and any radio may affiliate to it. I'm currently showing 80 affiliations on the site, the majority of which are Detroit PD radios. Since the site is not connected to the rest of the system, these radios are in a "black hole" unless something happens to get them to affiliate to another site. They are cut off from their dispatchers, unless somehow the dispatchers have a radio affiliated to the site as well.
