Is DSD + Fastlane still a thing?

I purchased fastlane about 9 months ago, worked great but I had to tend to other things. I’m trying to fire it up again but every time I attempt to open any of the files, the command prompt disappears as quickly as it opens. No indication of corrupted files or security causing the issues, any idea what’s happening?

Yes, it's still actively being updated / refined. If you are clicking on an exe or a .bat file directly and things are closing too quickly for you to figure out what the problem is, open a command prompt, navigate to your DSDPlus folder, and run from there. That way at least one command prompt will stay open that might give you a hint of what is going on. You probably either do not have a proper input / output available or your dongles / sdr devices cannot be found.

Why don't you explain exactly what you are using (dongles / Airspys / SDRPlay devices / SDR software and virtual cable).

So I finally got it to not close upon clicking. Now it’s saying “libfftw3f-3 is not in working folder”…even though it’s in the correct folder. I’m running an RTLDSR dongle, trying to get it to autoscan through digital voice transmissions.

What version number are you using?

DSD+ 2.465, it prompted me up download updates but I’m not sure if they were enacted though.

You download them, it is in your DSD+ folder, then use winzip or 7zip to unzip them into your DSD+ folder, replace files in there. Then go to MISC tab and download base files and do same. If it says Do you want to replace files click on YES

Okay I think we’re all up to date now. Trying to set up the scanning portion, I have a frequency list but I keep getting conflicting answers on where to put it. Thank you so much btw.

The file FMP24.Scanlist goes in the DSD+ directory, the entries will look like this...

*FREQ MODE DELAY Channel Name

294.7250 AM Delay=1.0 CAP NJ ANG
142.7500 P25 Delay=1.0 Command Post
143.825 FM Delay=0.5 Nighthawk

To start scanning press S when in the FMP24 screen, to exit press escape.

While one can extract the update to the dsdplus directory and be prompted to replace/overwrite what's there, the basefile.zip does not follow the same procedure since the files in that zip are in characterized directories. One needs to navigate to the file(s) of interest, and place in DSDPlus working directory.
