In normal scanning mode of vhf/uhf freqs it seems to work ok
but the instructions for programming trunk channels are horrendous.,
I have the channels of Nashville (Davidson cty)
programed in, E2 UHF800, 1 talk group Id list from here (1st ten numbers)
but from there the instructions are junk, Is the scanner supposed to be on scan, trunk, search,
all three at once or some other combination there of?
If I put it on scan and trunk when it gets to bank 9 where I put the trunk stuff
it blinks 901 ___________
for a second or so once in a while I'll see a number of a talkgroup pop up
but the squelch never breaks.
If I turn it to just scan when it gets to bank 9 there is so much "noise" including the control channel/data
noise that you can't turn the squelch up high enough to get it to go away.
at this point I'm frustrated enough to throw it in the garbage and just use the 5 old scanners I own.
