Unitrunker Is "Lockout" still broken?

I'm having trouble getting Unitrunker properly lockout unwanted talkgroups. I have a set of about ten, each has the hide and lockout boxes checked, and their priority set to 100, with the listen threshold set to the default 50. This should do the trick, right? Unfortunately, it's not working. I even checked the XML file on each group to be sure that the hide and lockout flags were indeed set to "1" and the rank "100".

FWIW, the hide function is working; these groups do not show up in the call history.

I have found old threads posted by others with the same problem. For as many people who post the method and claim it works, there are just as many who say it doesn't. At one point, I thought it was considered a potential bug, but I don't know if it was ever addressed.

Was there ever a definitive statement about this issue? And if it's still not quite working as intended, is there any sort of workaround? These talkgroups are driving me nuts.

Thanks.

Sorry, I'm on 1.0.33.6. I should have specified.

I keep forgetting there's a V2 out there. Since it's SDR only, I don't use it.

Okay, I've been reading and flailing about with this all weekend. I have been able to deduce that the lockout works... but only on certain channels in the trunking set. Some channels disregard the lockout, even though it displays "LO" in the R column. I can watch the conversation jump between channels, and only hear the portions that are landed on the lockout-disregarding channels.

I would think that if I can get it to obey the lockout on one channel, I should be able to get it to obey them on all of them, but I'm at a loss to know what to look for and change.

In the meantime, I was pleased to find that DSD+ has a lockout feature, but I'd still rather have Unitrunker controlling what signals get processed by DSD+, since it will still process the signal but just not pass the audio.

Any thoughts?

Well, I discovered my problem/mistake.

I had inadvertently set the "park" frequency on the voice receiver to the same frequency as one of the site channels.

Since the voice radio is piping audio to DSD+ via the discriminator, it was decoding the audio of the locked out talkgroups because essentially nothing was telling it that it shouldn't.

So, it wasn't Unitrunker failing to observe the locked-out state of the talkgroup.

What a relief to have finally found a solution!

It is good that you came back and explained the solution - this can help others.

I can't tell you all the times I've gone looking for a solution to a problem on the internet, only to find someone describing the exact same problem, and never following up on it. It's really frustrating, so I try not to be that guy...
