Yes and no. Wood County EMS still uses 154.43 and Wood County volunteer fire departments still use 154.22. I believe Wood County Sheriff still uses VHF high, but Parkersburg PD and FD are either using 800 trunk or P-25 digital. Vienna VFD runs seperate VHF on 155.05. Another interesting channel to program would be 453.700. The last two times I have been near Grand Central Avenue I have picked up Harrison County Headquarters very clear. You may also be interested in Washington County, Ohio frequencies as well.

I have not heard any Pkg. Police or Fire on High Band or 800 for several weeks. What freq are they using now?

What (if any) WVA State Police frequencies are active in the Parkersburg area?
Thanks in advance.

Another Tower

I just heard that Jefferson County will be placing a tower in service sometime prior to the end of the summer, with testing to commence shortly thereafter......

Freq requests are in....Keep watching!

Opps: I apologize guys, I thought I clicked the Interop forum.......
