This is NOT a rant, just a question: Has anyone heard anything about the Portage County SO going encrypted? I've heard multiple times today SO radio traffic advising certain units to be sure to take their mobile and portable radios in to get encrypted. I don't know if maybe these are just new radios that need to be encrypted for their TAC channels or if this is a new department wide encryption. Again, just a question. I guess I'll find if they suddenly go dark but has anybody heard anything?
