I'm looking at the DB and the last 2 freq in the LCN order are NOT in LCN order. Is this the correct order or is the DB wrong? I'm picking up sporadic traffic on this system but not what I think I should be hearing...

01 866.10000 02 866.75000 03 867.10000 04 867.62500 05 868.61250 06 867.87500
07 858.71250 08 860.71250

What do you mean? LCN order means "Logical Channel Number Order." In has nothing to do with the frequencies being sequentially increasing. If you're listening from San Mateo county you are probably too far away. The Richmond system has a very small footprint. I can hear the control channel on LCN 02, but can't get the system to track (from Marin).

Not only do EDACS systems not have to have sequentially increasing frequencies, but there can be breaks between LCNs too. Take a look at the Oakland EDACS system (rebanded) - there are tons of breaks where it skips a Logical Channel Number, yet that's how it was set up and the information in the db is complete.
