Is ScannerLive still supported?

I've been using dashboards to listen to my online feeds but I would really like to have the ability to have a priority channel that will mute the others when it is active. I've had ScannerLive on my mind for a while to try and today I downloaded a trial version. So far I like it but their forum seems to no longer be active.

Ironically even though I have set a channel as the priority it doesn't seem to mute the other channels when it goes active. Before I drop $20 I'd like to find out if I'm just doing something wrong or the program isn't able to work like I'm thinking it should?

I use ScannerLive 24/7 mainly to monitor my feed at home. It would be nice if it was updated. But I doubt it will. Forums were dead a long time ago

If you right click on a feed and select priority its text tag should switch to italic. As soon as that feed gets activated it mutes all other feeds.
In the Scan Setup there should be a line that says Priority Off that switch off the priority function.

My ScannerLive program didn't show any feeds online and when trying to add a feed there where no countries to select from.
I downloaded a copy from the their webpage and then it was all restored to normal operation again. It seems that Windows hade done something to a supporting file it needed. Probably the Netframework file it uses had changed.

If you download the latest it makes the security changes needed to keep running as-is. But no, with Broadcastify Calls doing what SL does (and even better) the ROI just isn't there to put the time needed.

Maybe I'll see if AI can write some code for me :)

Just my personal input, I like the ScannerLive platform over the Calls Playlists myself. Thank you for all the work putting it together!

Understood - I still do see the value in SL, but I'm spoiled since literally every area I listen to has Calls and that platform is so much better than SL.

SL still has value in areas where you don't have a call site of course, and if there's something I can do that won't be much of a lift I'll take a look.

Thanks everyone.
I really don't understand what Calls is or what it does. Most of my listening is railroad feeds, but I do listed to other stuff from time to time.

Calls is similar to regular audio feeds, the difference being it's not a continuous live stream. Each transmission is recorded and uploaded. The majority of calls providers use an SDR (Software Defined Radio) rather than a scanner or two-way radio. For large trunked radio systems, an SDR allows multiple transmissions to be monitored, recorded, and uploaded at once. A provider sends everything they receive and the listener can choose what they want to listen to, offering maximum flexibility.

Calls playlists can be created with any mix of content you want, up to 30 frequencies/talkgroups. If its available on the calls platform, it can be added to a playlist.

And another aspect of Calls is that transmissions are queued up. In SL (or any other live feed) if you hear two things at once you'll miss one (or more.) With calls they will play out sequentially, so you could be listening to five different systems at once but even if all five were active you would hear each transmission in order.

In my particular use case (Los Angeles County) each feed I monitor with SL is streaming a single frequency and SL actually allows me to hear everything at one time. I personally like being able to do that over having each transition queued up one after the other as they are on Calls. I've noticed that the transmissions can get backed up in Calls causing a substantial delay, especially if the "channels" are busy, like in LA.
