Is Stockton PD simulcast? A lot of transmissions with be clear for 3 seconds and then cut out and come back after a second. I’m pretty sure SanJoaquin SO is simulcast. I can’t get anything out of it with my 996p2 but with my SDS100 it comes in perfect.

Stockton and San Joaquin County are conventional P25. Are you asking whether or not they broadcast from separate tower (locations) on the same frequency? I have no issues picking them up in Sacramento county with my PSR-500 or PRO-197 (or SDS-100).

Weather is off and nothing set to priority. I did change the P25 threshold to 10 instead of automatic. It seems to have less breaks. Honestly not sure if that would help.

I noticed for awhile that Stockton PD was having radio/transmission cutouts recently that weren't your typical let go of the mic too early scenario. Seems to be OK now. I monitor and listen to PD and SO daily with my own personal radio and everything seems to be working fine. Maybe it's also just me but the audio seems to be a lot more clearer in general? I'm pretty sure at some point they had some radio work done within the last few weeks.
