Just was looking at licenses in my area and saw this one pop up. I don't see any NXDN frequencies assigned in the RR Database to Forestry. I am guessing (GFC) means Ga. Forestry Commission.

Yes GFC = Forestry Commission. License also indicates GTA:

Yep. The license itself also tells you what you need to know:

"ATTN GTA GFC COLUMBIA UNIT"

I love that the Georgia Technology Authority, which manages state government FCC licenses, puts in the Licensee "Attention" field and/or the "Contact" field a description of which agency uses the licenses. Here, "GFC Columbia Units" tells us this frequency is for the Georgia Forestry Commission's unit in Columbia County. I'm sure GTA does this for their own internal recordkeeping, but it sure is valuable to us too.
