When i'm going through adding my frequencies from RR to PSR the dates for when updated show really old dates. "see attached file".

And i have been testing between win500 and arc500 and the psredit500 and the latter seems to know what my scanner can receive and not receive and it only shows those frequencies, am i right on that is that how the psredit500 works?

Thanks, i'm very new to this just a few hours.

That just shows when they were last updated in the database, no changes since then since it appears from here they remain active as is, so nothing to update.

I checked the frequencies for KSP at KY State Police (Kentucky) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference,
From over here and not being there, all I could check is all the FCC licenses are indeed current, outside of two that just need their new license updated and I sent in info to get those updated.

Only one in question is for Bullitt county that shows expired, but cant find a new license. Those in Kentucky could check it's disposition.

Well i can confirm the 453.6625 is up to date even tho it's showing 2013 as the last time it was updated.

But thank u so much for that, i didn't know i thought maybe i needed to update psredit500 like you do in sentinel to update everything.

When i'm uploading frequencies to my scanner does it matter if i choose input freqs as well?

Inputs are low power wattage where as repeater outputs are much higher wattage. Dont bother putting in inputs.

Generally anything indicating input , relates to the input freq of the Repeater.
For scanners/reception you should only need the output frequencies

Thanks for that now i know what to do.

I turned on my hit counter and it's working but for some reason a analog freqs that i listen to is'nt showing any hits, but i see that the scanner is stopping on it and playing traffic. but when i upload the scanner back into PSREdit it still shows 0 for the hit count but other freqs are showing a count number. what could be going on? this messes up what i was gonna do which is load everything let is scan for a few days then delete everything that was never picked up at all.

Also am i right about PSREdit500 only pulling the frequencies that your scanner can decode , i noticed whenever i use arc500 and connect my pro 652 it pulls all freqs such as nxdn and dmr fron RRDB but when i use PSREdit500 and plug my pro652 it only shows the freqs it can decode. if that is in fact how it works then hands down why use the other softwares .

just because you did not hear it, doesn't mean it is not a valid freq in your area.
Some of my best listening is a freq that get's used once-a-week :) Tactical channel

I know what it says about rebanding i have read that and i have went on to read countless other things i understand what rebanding is and i know the pro 652 says it should be rebanded out of the box, the part i can't seem to find anywhere and is asked in my previous post is should i use that rebanding option in psredit500 on my scanner i dont' want to screw my scanner up if doing it again messes it up and then have even more problems. I guess guidence is what i'm looking and asking for.

And For those that say i should read and figure out my problems on my own don't understand and seem to know everything, i do research and read what i know to look up i only come here to RR when i have exhausted everything that i know to look for. When i started in this hobby and found the RR forums i was thrilled beyond happy that there was a place i could come with my issues no mater how elementary they were but really it seems to me like a place you can't ask to many questions even dumb ones or your shunned "by being told i'm being put on ignore" and that doesn't bother me seriously it don't! , i don't want you to answer my dumb questions if it bothers you so much that i asked them in the first place. I am gonna stop asking so many question's here tho i didn't know the radio community was so unwelcoming, And you can't say it's because i ask dumb questions or even the same questions twice that's bullcrap, And the reason i ask alot of questions is because i have brain damage i was in a motorcycle wreck about 10 years ago and ever since my long term memory has been horribly bad stuff that happened even a week ago is hard for me to remember it, I have also been diagnosed with ADD since childhood as well and took medication for it that i no longer take anymore.

I'm not a mean guy quite the opposite in fact and it's also very hard for someone to offend me i believe in turning the other cheek and helping anyone who needs it even if it requires the shirt off my back, so if i do annoy you i want you to put me on ignore because i don't want to be a bother to anyone, I am a christian and believe in Jesus christ as my lord and savior and trust he shall carry me through anything this life throws my way. Thanks to everyone here who has helped me so far you don't know how much that really means to me seriously it means a ton! and to Bill who DM'd me to help thanks man.

You don't "reband" your scanner, you apply the rebanding trunking tables to a Motorola 3600 system if needed. Do you listen to any 3600 systems? If not then don't worry about it.

A Type 2 Smartzone system would be an example of that - which I don't believe exist in your area at this point.

It is an old outdated 800 ANALOG Trunking System that parts are no longer available and owners are moving to P25 Trunking or other Digital Trunking Systems.
Many 3600 systems featured talkgroups that used the P25 CAI, so no...they were not exclusively "ANALOG".

Get Support those also a site like you list was told by Big M that they would no longer support this system and they needed to upgrade to a new P25 Phase 2 system so they are a system that is ending use also.

Bingo - we have 3 very large Smartzone systems still in operation in Ontario, Canada with police using P25, and EMS on analog. They’re in the midst of a change to P25 Phase 2, but, they’re still kicking right now.
