Limit to having groups in systems? Thanks guys!
Yes. Per the Easier to Read BCD325P2 Digital Scanner ManualLimit to having groups in systems? Thanks guys!
You can store up to 500 systems, up to 20 groups per system, and up to 1000 frequencies or 500 IDs per group. Total channels are limited to about 25,000.
Change it to FM and see if it improves. If you change it at the scanner then at some point, you should download the data from the scanner to ProScan so everything is in sync. If you change it in ProScan then you can right click that channel in the tree and choose "Upload Selected Nodes".View attachment 117323

I just did that but it's still not changing to FMChange it to FM and see if it improves. its about 6-7 mileshow far away are they from you ?
What type of scanner with 2500 channels in a group? I did a test just now using a BCD996P2. I uploaded 1000 conventional channels in a group. No errors. Then I manually tried to add a channel and got an error on the display "Over Limit". Any errors seen in the software are generated by the scanner. Sending the protocol command ACC (which appends a channel to a group), the command will either be accepted or return -1 which means the scanner failed to create a channel because of no resources.Although 1000 channels per group is advertised I can tell you that it is not correct.
I have groups with over 2500 channels in them. When using software to program I get an error message.
But all freqs get programed and read by the software.
I have both a BCD996P2 and the BCD325P2. Same with both. I have over 2500 freqs in a few different groups. Although the software will respond with an ERROR message it will program and read with no problem. What type of scanner with 2500 channels in a group? I did a test just now using a BCD996P2. I see now. It's not an error message but a info message. I'll change that.I have both a BCD996P2 and the BCD325P2. Same with both. I have over 2500 freqs in a few different groups. Although the software will respond with an ERROR message it will program and read with no problem.
