is there a new apco p25 radio come out soon

i am hearing from too or three places that gre is working on a dig p25
scanner anyone have any input.

you are referring to is uniden, not gre. Hopefully RS won't spec any new clunker GREs.

RS-GRE-Uniden is a conumdrum that may never be fully sorted-out.
I doubt they even understand it.

I'll let re-banding take effect before I spend another dime in ANY scanner from Whomever...
Til then it's just the Pro96 and the Pro91. Both are doing excellent jobs. REALLY love the Pro96 with Win96 and RR DataBase. Doesn't get any better unless re-banding out-modes
the whole plan...

VintageJon I totally agree, it s wait and see I too am a 96 fan, I was a Uniden man till I bought a PRo 95. And the Pro 96 on sale cant be beat for the value and the sensitivity. But who knows my next base maybe a uniden 996 but I will wait and see what GRE puts out if anything, however I believe its just a matter of time..................hoser147
