I am using a Uniden BCT15X Trunktracker III in my office to monitor local wildfire traffic. I programmed it with FreeScan software and would like to buy a handheld version of the BCT15X that could use the same frequency/channel data files as the desktop radio. Is there a programmable handheld version of the BCT15X or similar unit than anyone can suggest? Thanks!

Hi & welcome to the RR forums:
See handheld list here. Not all of them trunk track. Not sure if that's a requirement to bring in what you're looking for but if it isn't I'd recommend the BC125AT

Thanks all for the handheld scanner info. Besides a UV5R for ham comm, the only handheld emergency scanner I have is a Radio Shack PRO-94, which works OK, but I'm looking for something smaller, PC programmable, and rechargable.
