I'm thinking I might not need my 2096 here in Little River , is there any digital in the area to speak of. Outlying areas like Brunswick County , NC etc.??

When I left down there in april there was no digital that I know of except my MIGC fire, they are on the border of horry/georgetown counties. They where using georgetown county.
I have a buddy who still has a gtx on the county system and he talks to them all the time.

I don't believe that you will find any digital traffic on the Horry County or City of Myrtle Beach systems...not sure that the systems are capable. You may hear digital traffic on the Palmetto 800 sites in any county in SC depending on who is roaming where.
Georgetown has 3 simulcast sites and is part of the Palmetto system.
