Is this talk group encrypted?

ID 3038 talk group...it comes across my scanner making a
Gawd awful sound....is it encrypted or are they using a different system?
Its making it unpleasant to listen to the apco-25 local PD!

If this the tg in question (looking at your location) yes it's encrypted. Lock it out.

bde is hex for the tg 3038. E is encrypted.

Man.....I'll tell ya what....if they all start encrypting...we are sol....and our $500-$600 scanners won't be worth much!

Its the BC Narco squad....yep all their transmits were encrypted.....which makes sense....don't want the dope dealers to know that their about to get busted!
