Anyone Know Where to Download the latest RR Database (RRDB) Now That Whistler is Out of Business?

I used to update my old Radio Shack scanner using the Pro-668 software and updating the Radio Reference Database Files, but since RS is out of biz, I would just download the latest RR DB from the Whistler website, but now that Whistler is out of biz, I don't know where else I can download it...

Is Whistler Still in the Scanner Business ?

I haven't heard anything lately (in Years) from Whistler about any new scanners. Please excuse my ignorance... but are they still in the scanner business? Their former top-of-the-line scanner show "Sold Out" on their web site. I hate to see the competition disappear from the hobby. Thanks !

Nobody really knows what's going on.

I will be mighty displeased if they disappear for good. The TRX line are damn fine scanners for my uses.

Of the three threads above check them out as two of them might be already closed but you can still read them. Just about all the information that we have at this point.

Until they come out with an official press release and letter to their loyal valuable customers over the years, that's usually how they sound, that they are officially closed, then I for one, I'm still in a wait and see mode. There was talk of being sold or opening at a new location but that hasn't been verified by anybody.

I'll admit it doesn't look good but we could hear something one way or the other even if it's here on radio reference. That's all I've got for you.
