Anyone out there have any information on their new radio system and new freqs. It is suppose to go online sometime in Oct. 05.

If you're just looking for frequencies, I found them in license WQCL441:

159.2100

Some of these frequencies are already used by the county.

What new radio system? Division 5, STARS Zones 9 & 10 are due to start soon, if thats what you mean.

Isle of Wight county has revamped their system to include tac channels that are repeated. it is supposed to use some of the current freqs.

been hearing the techs test the coverage, which sounds good by the way. Only issue currently is interference caused to PD Prince George on 159.150, which is currently their main police frequency. I understand that this will soon NOT be the case, as PG is moving to UHF and will abandon their VHF HI allocations...but for now, interference is an issue, given that one of the sites for Isle Of Wight is in Waverly (heard this from one of the techs). Yes, I know that Waverly is in Sussex Co., but according to the tech there is a site there for I O W....

for the record, I O W is using a PL of 127.3 on this particular freq if i copied correctly.
