For the past few days I've heard an ISP unit use a "K" identifier but didn't catch who/what it was - This morning I did. I heard "K-43" go "10=41., accident reconstruction." I got to "see" who it was too - Radio ID 2106392, who used to be "O-174".

"K" has been used by IDoC units, on their own channels and ISP channels so I wonder if they're changing?

ISP sure likes to mess with their radio identifiers - Accident reconstruction officers just switched to being "O" units within the past couple of years. Before that they just used "normal" district identifiers.

I have noted O-183 recently changed to K (King)-37. I thought I didn't hear it correctly had to "play the tape back", to confirm.

ISP K-9 units use that designator in the middle of their radio signatures. 3-K9-1 for example.
