Benton and White counties test fire pagers at 18:00 daily. Warren/Fountain Counties (Attica) does some pager tests at noon, some at 18:00 and I believe some at 21:00. I believe Tippecanoe County tests pagers on Saturday mornings at 11am or noon. I'm not sure if any of these are simulcasted on SAFE T.

I don't believe White County uses a county numbering scheme. You'll hear "Idaville Tanker 1" or "Wolcott Pump 2" ID on the radio.

I have someone I can ask about Benton County's unit numbering....

Also be sure to look at Fire Department Directory for some departmental information.

Here is what I believe is the numbering scheme for Benton Co. I don't have Ambia yet. If my memory serves me correctly, these numbers were devised from the keypad numbers the dispatcher used to have to hit on the old encoder to page the department. When you hear their tones, it does make sense based on the sound of the tone. (ie Earl Park and Fowler tones are the same, just reversed).

These four departments are dispatched on 154.205. Ambia is dispatched on the 155.880 sheriff's repeater.

Earl Park is 45-XX
Fowler is 54-XX
Boswell is 35-XX
Oxford is 25-XX

NW fire territory for Montgomery County was rejected, so you aren't going to get anything for that as far as renumbering. They are appealing the decision now.
