Not sure what they mean by rebanding, as that was completed years ago now. Unless they are upgrading firmware/codeplugs to add new sites etc.... I will start asking around and see whats up. As far as I know, IPSC is not starting the TDMA testing until next year as they just finished getting the new ASTRO-25 Firmware upgrade done, and the new simulcasts up north, and all but 1 IDOC site now P25.
That is the one left to convert. As far as I know, all the rest of the Legacy systems are now all P25's. IPSC is still in the works of getting P25 conventional sites for the IDOC facilities that never had trunked sites.Which IDOC facility Milf? Last year I went to New Castle a couple times looking for their P25 site, but they were still on the old system.

All radio systems in IN that are Public Safety go through IPSC. In fact, MOST programming is set up/done through IPSC so that the entire state is on the same page for mutual aid/interoperability. And as IDOC IS a State of Indiana Agency, the radio system they use is an IPSC project. Especially so as IDOC is a user statewide of the SAFE-T TRS. All users of SAFE-T have an codeplug done by IPSC. And if you are going to change up your codeplug, you are supposed to notify IPSC so that others that interop with you can make the appropriate changes to their radios! (Also note the fact that the upgraded IDOC sites share the SAFE-T Cores, have the SAME SysID as SAFE-T. They technically are an subsystem and the sites do not get listed on the main site map,.. They are SAFE-T. They have almost all other users blocked off the sites, except in an emergency and non IDOC users can be force affiliated etc...)Did someone at ISPC tell you this? I have always wondered how much influence IPSC has over IDOC's radio changes.
