Isp radio updates tonight

ISP has said they will be doing radio updates tonight on 800 in lots of posts all over the state. So far I hear dist 53 52 and 24 up north starting at 12 est and it will take 1 to 3 hrs to do. We could wake up to sum new channel #s maybe Wednesday.

I have been hearing testing on the MA's as well as the NPSPAC channels this AM.

Z-Release

Last night all sites were placed in Site Trunking for a Statewide Z-Release software upgrade.
It only actually took about 20 mins to complete. They were saying 20 min-3hrs.
I think it's a good idea. It makes the Agencies look at other forms of Communication.

Maybe only twenty minutes where you are at but here in Zone 3 we had a problem. Seems all radio ID's were locked out of the system. We were back online around 0800.

heard almost all Dist 32 units unable to call 10-41 this morning because of the update...something bout ID's were dropped during the update...took about 10 mins once the POST realized what had happen for Operations to get the ID's back in the system

What is up the the system UPDATE...is it just me or is anyone else getting Digital TGs displaying as Analog TGs once a conversation has ended...The TG will switch to Analog and hold with static....This has not happen before....until the update the other night...It could be Storm related also, as we had Bad weather here this Morning...but I was wondering if anyone else was noticing what I was referring to?

I have heard several units from different departments also talk how there portables are not working right
