Is anyone aware of new changes with ISP's use of vhf statewide channels still in use??

This morning I heard ISP Dist. 1 in Sterling testing on HF2 and HF4, with a new PL of 136.5.

....Interesting.

So is anyone on RR aware of Ill. switching to a PL of 136.5?
Maybe this is just isolated to this district, but I confirmed it with two different radios at the same time, same frequencies.
The only statewide tones I'm aware of are 67.0,110.9, 123.0, 127.3, 156.7, 210.3 and now 136.5.

Thanks to anyone who might be aware.

IREACH 155.055 uses a DPL156 now, the GRE/RS scanners sometimes show 136.5 even tho the user is using a DPL, that's how my RS2096/96 work.....

The 136.5 is sometimes displayed on channels that are actually DPL. I read once why but don't recall the details.

I wonder if the station is actually using a DPL code (D156) instead of 136.5.

The DPL/DCS/DCG "turn-off" code is 134 Hz, which scanners will decode as PL 136.5.

Interesting! I wasn't aware of this quirk with Gre stuff. I wonder if a specific frequency in memory is programmed for Dcs search only, such as those like IREACH will solve that issue.

I had a conventional fire dept channel also show up with a 136.5 tone, when it's usually carrier squelch...

Thanks to everyone for their input.
