ISP Troop 2 Dispatch

Occasionally while monitoring Illinois State Police Troop 2, I will hear dispatch refer to themselves as "Rock Island" instead of "Sterling". It seems like I've heard this a few times over the last week or so, usually in the evenings. Does the dispatch alternate?

Occasionally while monitoring Illinois State Police Troop 2, I will hear dispatch refer to themselves as "Rock Island" instead of "Sterling". It seems like I've heard this a few times over the last week or so, usually in the evenings. Does the dispatch alternate?

Dunno the answer to this one, but the Illinois Tollway dispatch center still IDs as "Oak Brook" over the air......even though they moved from Oak Brook to Downers Grove 34 years ago. Some old habits die hard, I guess.
